I have been protesting daily for accountability\liability from the lying consultants that killed my poor grandmother. I have been collecting signed petitions! My mother & I have been threatened, bullied, mocked, labelled, abusively taunted, and assaulted. Let nobody be in any doubt how inhumane, cruel, totally biased, and phoney the NHS Trust is & the legal system-which continually protects the professional.

It is so corrupt we cannot get changed my grandmother's lying death certificate, which is a public document, which legally & morally should be correct! The GP who did it wrong said "he's got to be careful because of Harold Shipman!" My grandmother had a fall at home (we all lived together) - she was in absolute agony. In excruciating pain she stopped drinking & eating. The GP refused to come out! We conveyed how seriously ill she was but the GP refused and said she will be fine & to give "her paracetamol!" The GP treated us like imbeciles. It took us three days to get her to hospital.

In a nutshell, she arrived late at hospital on the 13\6\01. The consultant without meeting my grandmother relays via telephone call from hospital that "scans are not critical." My grandmother was left over 19 hours on a trolley - which lengthwise she didn't even fit on! She was given no pain relief and no oxygen. For 72 hours she was immobilised. There was no restoring blood flow management in order to salvage viable neurons surrounding the core and no immediate hydration-drip, which was given seven and a half days later.

She was given four lots of haroperidol and was sedated while dehydrated. She developed stage three bleeding and open bedsores! She had a massive hump on her neck and developed a painful cracked tongue! They would not listen to us when we politely pleaded for an urgent scan! Nurses dared say we were questioning their procedures! (Someone has got to!)

The scan was finally done days & days later & we are told on the 16\6\01, she could die any minute because she has a chronic subdural haematoma! No rehabilitation.

She survived somehow & left hospital 10 days later requiring 24\7 round the clock nappies, feeding and everything! We got the negligent consultant out to our home but he lied adding further to our pain.

We will fight for as long as it takes as my grandmother suffered an agonizing death. It would have been kinder if they had shot her for the evil suffering they caused!

I would like to hear from anyone who has seen firsthand what the system is like & naturally from anyone else who has had a misdiagnosed subdural!
